Who we are

We Are Catholic Youth Walking on A Spiritual Journey — Together.

We walk alongside the Oblates Priests and Lay Associates. To be nourished
by the charism of St. Eugene de Mazenod — to discover your purpose, your gifts, and
a community that has your back.

There are no positions to win. Everyone who walks with us belongs from day one.
All leaders
We don't appoint office bearers. We grow leaders — every one of us carries the mission.

More than 50 active youth, bound not by titles but by faith, friendship, and a shared journey.

Our story

It began with 50 young people across the country

In 2014, under the vision of Rev. Fr. Susith Randil Fernando, OMI, fifty young people gathered at the De Mazenod House Chapel on December 7th. That first evening became a movement.

To create an active, deeply spiritual, and welcoming atmosphere wherever we are — and wherever we are sent.

To empower the next generation

Through workshops, community service, spiritual encounters, and a positive presence online — a mission for youth, with youth, and by youth.

What we do

Four ways we grow, serve, and walk forward.

We welcome young adults aged 16 and older, and we work to uplift the whole person — so each of us can live a good, generous, Christ-centred life.

Public preaching, seminar organisation, and retreat facilitation — formed in the life and spirit of St. Eugene de Mazenod.

Empowerment & support

We stand with our youth through real livelihood challenges, helping each person to find footing for study, work, and life.

A deep responsibility to protect and care for our common home and the natural world around us.

Missionary support

We give our time and energy to the wider Oblate mission — programmes, retreats, workshops, and on-the-ground service.
